Dex (KawaiiRiceBalls, he/they/she) is an Oakland-based artist and VOCALOID producer. He’s spent his whole life drawing both digitally and traditionally.

He attended Oakland School for the Arts (OSA) for visual art from 8th to 12th grade. At OSA, he further developed his skills, while finding his voice as an artist and learning how he wants to share his message with the world. Working largely in linocut and pen, Dex draws inspiration from pop art, pop culture, and retro trends.

Dex’s art puts a spotlight on the queer community, Latin and Asian identities, neurodiversity, and all the little things that make Dex Dex.
