L’anamour

L’anamour, named after the song by french songwriter serge gainsbourg, Was Dex’s high school senior thesis that explores the different ways people experience and percieve the concept of love. Dex asked his friends to give him a quote that they came up with based on their own experiences with love. He then photographed and drew them, and created over 100 handcut stamps to print their quotes. Drawing isnpiration from the Yé-Yé movement of 1960s France, Dex translated their quotes into french, making them reminiscent of lyrics of that era.
